Song: I Am A Target – “Love or obsession?”
I wanted to write something really campy, '80s style. I think I succeeded in that. The melody is way beyond what I was capable of singing back then, I guess... but who knows, it might be an acquired taste.
This includes my first attempt at using a 7/8 time signature, at least briefly.

I remember the time when I first caught your eye Since then not many days did go by We're together now, and you love me so Whenever you feel bad you let me know I am a target of love You're with me all day long Watching from up above Your feelings must be very strong I don't go anywhere without you by my side Oh baby, you hold on tight I am happy with you, and you'll always be true But you're clingy, I wish you'd get a clue I'm not going to stray, but I need time to play You don't need to read my e-mails every day I am a target of suspicion You're monitoring me Your strange presupposition That I'll go on a killing spree I don't get it, please, keep my freedom alive And knock off the panic you contrive I would get an order of restraint on you But the law is on your side In fact you are the legislative body And you're teaming up with law enforcement I cannot hide, oh Germany Perhaps we're just not meant to be I'm leaving you, it's sad, but we're through And I'm moving in with Holland
