Song: In The Tank – “Solution for the socially inept”
Liner notes
The technical side of this song, namely the virtual reality tanks, was inspired by the VR tanks described in Tad Williams's "Otherland" book series... and we all know that some people don't like real life interactions much, hence this song was born.
This version was retrofitted with spruced up drums, compared to the version that got submitted to Song Fight.

Words
Life is too damn complicated And free choice is overrated Luckily there is a way to leave it all behind Everybody will be free in a prison for their mind In the tank of happiness Made out of plexiglass We've got no privacy But we get fed intravenously Live in virtual reality Everybody bless The tank of happiness A couple of cubic meters filled with thick nutritive slime Hook up the respirator and the neural lace, it's time Time to leave the real world for a neverending dream All responsibilities replaced by video stream In the tank of happiness... I used to be pathetic, no achievements and no friends Now we are on even footing, 'til our species ends No one gets to brag, we've gotten rid of that communication thing And in my little world I am the only king In the tank of happiness... Sure, I'm still terribly alone, I must confess But I can cope 'cause I know you're alone no less And no one will ask anything of me It can't get better, can't you see? In the tank of happiness... You'll never have to see the real me Everybody bless The tank of happiness
