Song: Until The End – “To those who wait...”

Liner notes

This song has been released under the artist name "Guileless Contradiction".

I'd never written anything bluesy before. Once is enough, I guess. This was fairly mechanical... except I didn't manage more than one take of the chorus, so I just copied it over every time. Made the bad pronounciation all the more noticeable... ah well.

Words

I will stay here until the end No matter what, I will stand A billion years or longer, 'til I get to see Who is right about what happens, that atheist or me We've been discussing this all day Does this God person exist My neighbour says "no way" No matter what I say He will stubbornly persist But I will show him I am right I will stand right by God's side My neighbour won't quite make the list I will stay here until the end... I gave the New Testament to him But he just won't see the light All he will ever do is skim His chances are quite dim To see heavenly might Despite his strengths he's so proud of We won't be neighbours up above He'll be in eternal night I will stay here until the end... He's no longer speaking to me He must have misunderstood It's not my fault he'll go to hell I'm just trying to be good

I'm not asking you that because I'm so incredibly vain... honestly! It's to prevent generic spam machines from unloading their freight here. Your feedback will only be accepted if you answer this correctly.
